What Happens During A Counselling Session?
You explain what you are concerned about and I will provide you with information and resources to help you overcome your problems. By talking about your issues and expressing how you feel and what you would like to achieve, I can assess exactly what type of recovery program you will need to change your life. You may be suffering from depression or low self-esteem and using food or alcohol as a way of coping with life.
After assessing your situation, I will advise the best method for you to approach and follow up with written instructions via email or mail.
You may need another telephone consultation after a couple of weeks, just to ensure you are on track or to work through any difficulties you may encounter.
You are given strategies and techniques that you can use at home to support you and improve your emotional well-being. I am just a phone call away if you need me.
Telephone counselling is discreet and confidential and personal information that is collected will not be released to any third party except in the case of a Specialist (Psychiatric) Referral.
